"I was able to see what a health and social care service is like in a foreign country and how the approaches differ from the UK. Having an organisation for the elderly and children in one building allows them both to interact and helps to improve the elderly's mental health."

Basketball is my passion. I have loved seeing how it is coached in St Lucia. They only have outdoor courts and if it rains, they don’t go home, they have special rollers to dry the court. I have picked up new techniques and drills that I can use back at home. I will miss the children so much and hope to come back and see their development. The coach couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming and helpful.
