The placement
My placement gave me an opportunity to work within a business and work together to achieve a final end goal. This gave me a real-world experience of how it would feel working as a group in a company.
I gained many interpersonal skills, including being more confident when working in a group. This is because I knew that all my ideas and suggestions were accounted for. In my work placement, I had to present my findings to a group of people, and this helped me improve my presentation skills.
The location
It was really good to meet up with other college students who were also in Prague for work experience. It was interesting to talk to them to see what their experience was like in relation to mine.
The impact
I know that my time in Prague will help me professionally when in a job and applying for a job. It is a great thing to have on my CV, as it is work experience in another country.
It will help me in a job as it gave me the ability to experience a real-world scenario where I am working with a team of people in order to achieve a certain goal. I believe I contributed to the company and made a difference. This gives me the confidence and experience to work effectively in any work placement.
