The motivation
Offering such an experience I’m sure will motivate those who didn’t attend to raise their standard within college in hope of a second maybe even third trip.
The placement
The training facility was fantastic. The players loved the experience and developed life-long friendships from it. The character of the students really shone through, they led the group and took responsibility for decisions in moments of uncertainty.
The location
The location was fantastic for the students. The town was within walking distance and had lots for the students to explore.
Every single student loved the experience, some had never travelled via plane before so were simply thankful for the opportunity to do so. Some of the more seasoned travellers enjoyed learning a new language and chose to explore the history of such a special Spanish city.
The impact
Socially, the group developed with certain individuals really standing up and taking responsibility for their peers. It really took others out of their comfort zones and perhaps has now installed a confidence to travel and explore the world.
