The motivation
It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’d worked so hard to achieve my grades during college so I felt like I deserved the opportunity.
The placement
I worked at European Education and Learning Institute (EELI) helping with their Digital media and marketing.
I interviewed other work placements and I shot content all around Rethymno for the interview material. I then edited quality interview content for EELI’s social media.
I was hugely impressed with my own ability to adapt to a working environment. I’d never had experience before with editing. I persevered and I’m really proud of all of the work I have put forward, without having much prior knowledge on how to edit.
The location
I can’t even lie, the food. I absolutely loved the Greek food it was just amazing everytime and I’m missing it so much already. I just want a Gyros.
Professionally though, I loved seeing the University of Crete as it was so intriguing and I got to see so many historical aspects of Crete itself
The impact

My passion is with Esports, so this experience will definitely impact my career significantly. I’m going to be a very successful figure in the Esports industry, I’ll have you know, starting with university studies at Staffordshire.
