For several years now, REY Europe has been working with SGS College in the south west of England to offer European work placement opportunities to vocational learners.
We sent a record number of participants from SGS College in 2018-2019, and their feedback has been very positive indeed. One Hair & Beauty student discovered a passion for men’s barbering whilst on placement in Crete, and she now intends to become an apprentice barber. For another student studying Information Technology & Computing, the university he applied to was so impressed with his placement in Prague that the university made him an unconditional offer.
We’ll be in Bristol meeting with SGS College staff in September to plan for next year. There are some new plans in the pipeline, with new courses and new locations – watch this space!
