We had the opportunity to visit students in Seville, on Creatives, Business and Tourism placements
Last week, we travelled to Seville to meet Third Sector International (3SI), our partner in Seville and visit participants in their placements.
It was fantastic to see students getting stuck in, and given the opportunity to get hands on experience in a range of different activities.
Opportunity for hands on experience
Working with our partners, Burnley College and BSix College we have sent over 30 learners from Business, Tourism and Creative sectors, to gain first hand work experience in this beautiful Spanish city.
Students working at Garbau Marketing were managing social media marketing for client accounts. Creatives student placements included work at a textiles company and photography studio, where they had the chance to make products and engaging with customers. Tourist students at See by Bike had been liaising with customers and joining bike tours around the city.
Students were full of enthusiasm about Seville, and the amazing attractions they had been able to visit. It was very hot, and trips to the nearby beach town of Cadiz had also been planned for the weekend.
