Lucy joined as Partnerships Manager with RiSE International in November 2019. In her role as Partnerships Manager, she’s the key point of contact for partners and is responsible for managing the delivery of international work placements.

Having previously worked as a freelance copywriter, Lucy also leads on the development of our communications strategy and content development.

With a background in children’s rights, Lucy has over six years of experience in managing programmes that empower young people. She also has also worked within local government on initiatives preventing harmful practices against women and girls. Before joining RiSE International, Lucy worked at the British Council as Programme Manager, and oversaw the delivery of an international music education programme. She also has extensive experience of budget management and securing funding for programmes.

Lucy holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from Aberystwyth University and an MSc in Childhood Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
