We offer a variety of construction placements in the Spanish city of Lebrija.
Our work experience placements across Europe are carefully designed to teach your students valuable skills in their chosen areas of study. We work closely with our network of international partners to ensure that each placement is well structured, and that individuals are given all the support they need.
Activities
Some of our placements include:
- Painting and decorating buildings
- Assisting with electrical installations on residential properties
- Observing official quantity surveying and assisting with measurements
Skillsets
As each placement is unique our students might gain experience in a range of different areas, such as:
- Learning different pipework techniques
- Improving conduit and wiring skills
- Replacing motors, transformers and circuits

“At my work placement in Seville I was involved in doing many different things. My first task was learning how to fit a bath tub in a bathroom. I then moved onto learning how to fit a sink and a shower. Once I had mastered this, I also did some other related tasks like fixing kitchen taps. This experience helped me realise that working in construction in Spain is very different to the UK.”

“My placement was in a carpentry and joinery workshop that was established over 100 years ago. During my placement I was responsible for sanding and cutting pieces for various parts of furniture. I also helped fit doors and wardrobes in local houses.”
