  • I love the good vibes that Vancouver radiates, full of young people. When you go out it’s very easy to make friends and to create bonds with people as they are very friendly and kind.

Student testimonials

  • “I had the chance to observe how the nurses administer medication to the residents. This improved my knowledge of how nurses work with different people, and how they ensure residents are feeling better. I also had the chance to observe how care and treatment is provided in a different country. Working with elderly people will be my focus and this placement has served as a pathway to my future career.”

  • “The skills I learned there will help me with my future. I gained experience in how to interact with people even when we don’t speak the same language. As a paramedic you never know the people you are going to meet at an accident, if the people are able to speak the same language or not you will still have to deal with the situation.”
