Our work experience placements are carefully designed to teach your students valuable skills in their chosen areas of study. We work closely with our network of international partners to ensure that each placement is well structured, and that individuals are given all the support they need.

My placement allowed me to improve my organizational, communication and listening skills. I have met lots of people that are committed and passionate to their job and it’s very noticeable that they love what they are doing, I have learnt lots of things from them which I intend to apply in the future.
Activities

- Assisting in activities for older people
- Assisting in childcare and children’s activities
- Supporting children or older people with specific needs
Skill sets
As each placement is unique our students might gain experience in a range of different areas, such as:
- Using a range of strategies to overcome communication barriers when providing care
- Providing appropriate care and supporting a team of health and care professionals
- Identifying individual needs and ensuring that care is person-centred
